Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow
School-based, part-time position (up to 30 hours/week), Monday–Friday 9 am–3 pm. Pay range: $65–90/hour. Immediate start; leave replacement through the end of the 2025–26 school year with possible extension.
About the Role
Dragonfly Cares is a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping children with autism and developmental differences thrive. We deliver high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in homes, centers, schools, and communities across Long Island. We are seeking a licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist clinical fellow to cover a leave replacement in an elementary school from now through the end of the year, with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to make in‑district connections and support school‑aged students for the remainder of the 2025–26 school year. The hourly rate range for this role is $65–90/hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct treatment services to the K–2 population.
- Collaborate with other members of the school‑based support team.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of all sessions and progress toward goals outlined in each student’s IEP.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid New York State licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
- Active New York State TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification.
- Pediatric/school‑aged evaluation and treatment experience strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in various settings and as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid licensure and reliable transportation.
