About the Role

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking CCC-SLPs for in-person Clinical Fellow mentorship and supervision in Providence, Rhode Island. You will receive unparalleled support, responsive clinical leadership, meaningful interactive opportunities, and access to exclusive content.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the school setting as an ASHA Certified SLP
• Maintains appropriate state license and ASHA CCC-SLP throughout the entire CF experience
• Completes at least two hours of professional development in the area of supervision after being awarded the CCC-SLP (SSG can provide if needed)

Responsibilities

• Prioritize on-site observation, with virtual methods used only as a supplement
• Minimum of 1-2 hours of in-person supervision each month (4 hours for full-time Clinical Fellows in California, 2 hours for part-time)
• Minimum of 1-2 hours of indirect clinical support (e.g., documentation review, meetings, sharing resources)
• Provide mentorship to help the Clinical Fellow become an independent practitioner of SLP services
• Improve the clinical effectiveness of the Clinical Fellow through meaningful mentoring and feedback
• Assist the Clinical Fellow in developing independent clinical skills
• Complete all records, feedback, and ratings in a timely manner per 2020 Standard VII
• Provide opportunities to view and accurately rate all skills listed in the 2020 CFSI [PDF]
• Ensure minimum required on-site and in-person supervisory activities per segment for earned hours and weeks to count
• Adhere to professional and ethical best practices

Pay

The CF Mentor will receive a monthly stipend for each CF SLP being supervised.
