Speech Language Pathologist

About the role

Join a growing Speech Therapy team at SportsMed Physical Therapy as the organization expands its services and builds a new Speech Therapy department focused on adult neurorehabilitation. You will work alongside Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists in a collaborative rehabilitation environment, helping to expand Speech Therapy services within an established multidisciplinary organization.

Responsibilities

• Adult patients experiencing stroke and CVA‑related communication disorders
• Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions
• Concussion and mild traumatic brain injury
• Cognitive‑communication disorders
• Dysphagia and swallowing disorders
• Aphasia, dysarthria, and other communication disorders
• Other adult neurorehabilitation diagnoses

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
• Current New Jersey SLP License
• At least 1 year of post‑graduate clinical experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist
• Adult neurological or rehabilitation experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Goal‑driven individual who wants to grow with a new department
• Collaborative approach to patient care
• ASHA CCC‑SLP preferred
• LSVT Loud preferred
• Speakout! preferred

Pay

$60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule

Part‑time to start, with opportunity to grow into full‑time based on caseload.
