Speech Language Pathologist

About the role

Join a growing Speech Therapy department at SportsMed Physical Therapy, which is expanding its services and building a new Speech Therapy team focused on adult neurorehabilitation. You will work alongside Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists to help expand Speech Therapy services within an established multidisciplinary rehabilitation organization. Positions start part‑time and can grow to full‑time based on caseload.

Responsibilities

• Treat adult patients with stroke and CVA‑related communication disorders
• Work with patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions
• Address concussion and mild traumatic brain injury cases
• Manage cognitive‑communication disorders
• Provide dysphagia and swallowing disorder interventions
• Treat aphasia, dysarthria, and other communication disorders
• Handle other adult neurorehabilitation diagnoses as needed

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
• Current New Jersey SLP License
• At least 1 year of post‑graduate clinical experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist

Qualifications

• Adult neurological or rehabilitation experience preferred
• ASHA CCC‑SLP preferred
• LSVT Loud preferred
• Speakout! preferred

Pay

$60.00 – $65.00 per hour

Schedule

Part‑time initially, with opportunity to grow into full‑time positions as caseload increases.
