Speech-Language Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Administer the speech therapy treatment plan as developed by the Speech Language Pathologist.
• Apply concepts of infection control and standard precautions in performing patient care activities.
• Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with the education and competence to care for the patients.
• Use effective interpersonal relations and communication skills.
• Meet mandatory continuing education requirements.
• Promote compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third party payers, through education, coaching and other assistance as necessary.
• Demonstrate commitment, professional growth and competency.
• Perform other related duties and activities as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of speech therapy assistant with a minimum of Bachelors Degree.
• Active California SLP licensure.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
