Responsibilities
- Administer the speech therapy treatment plan as developed by the Speech Language Pathologist.
- Apply concepts of infection control and standard precautions in performing patient care activities.
- Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with the education and competence to care for the patients.
- Use effective interpersonal relations and communication skills.
- Meet mandatory continuing education requirements.
- Promote compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third party payers, through education, coaching and other assistance as necessary.
- Demonstrate commitment, professional growth and competency.
- Perform other related duties and activities as required.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of speech therapy assistant with a minimum of Bachelors Degree.
- Active California SLP licensure.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
