- Master's degree from an accredited college/university for speech pathology with endorsement code 215
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) issue by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Valid Mississippi educator license issued by the Mississippi Department of Education's Office of Licensure with necessary endorsement to be "Highly Qualified" as a Language/Speech Pathologist
