Speech & Language Pathologist

Full-time Speech Language Pathologist position at the May Center for ABA Services in Western Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to children for whom therapy supports are identified in their Individual Family Service Plan
• Complete a specific assessment to document child’s status
• Collaborate with parents to develop specific functional outcomes using family-friendly terminology
• Maintain ongoing contact with child’s service coordinator to ensure consistency in service delivery
• Train and provide consultation to staff as needed
• Attend IFSP and school meetings
• Document session notes after each visit
• Supervise students in their clinical fellowship year

Requirements

• Current licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association
• 2 years experience supporting infants and toddlers preferred
• Knowledge of child development
• Must have reliable transportation
