Speech Language Pathologist

About the role

As an Enhance Rehabilitation Speech Therapist, you will be a part of a growing team. Your responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients by following an individualized plan of care based on an evaluation. You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills are essential, as are the abilities to work well with others and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients by following an individualized plan of care based on an evaluation.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting.
• Show strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
• Work well with others and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.
• Administer standardized speech/language assessments.
• Conduct swallowing evaluations.
• Develop treatment plans.
• Maintain and monitor patients' progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of [State Name].
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting preferred.
