About the role
The Speech Language Pathologist at Memorial Hospital - Chattanooga will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders to improve patient quality of life. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and contributing to departmental and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for all referred patients
- Meticulously implement individualized treatment plans
- Develop/upgrade treatment programs/protocols
- Shape departmental and organizational goals
Requirements
- Masters of Science in Communication Disorders, upon hire
- Tennessee Speech Language Pathologist license, upon hire
- Clinical competence in Speech Language Pathology, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Science in Communication Disorders preferred
- Experience in acute care or outpatient services preferred
- VITALSTIM Certification preferred
