Speech Language Pathologist
Description
Careage Home Health in King County is looking for a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to administer speech therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence in the King County area. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.
Summary Of Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of Speech-Language Pathology Services as ordered by the patient's physician.
- Participate with all other home care personnel in patient care planning.
- Instruct patients and family members in-home programs.
- Comply with Medicare documentation requirements.
- Help develop the plan of care and revise it as necessary.
- Advise and consult with the family and other Agency personnel.
- Participate in in-service programs.
- Appropriately utilize ICD-10 codes.
- Participate in QAPI activities as assigned.
- Any other duties as required by the Director of Clinical Services

Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Currently licensed to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington State
- Two (2) years of experience, preferred
- Home Health experience, preferred
- Ability to travel within King County
Qualifications
- Licensure in Washington State

- Knowledge of Medicare documentation requirements
