About the role
Seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, oral, pharyngeal, cognitive, or communicative disorders.
Responsibilities
- Performing therapy interventions using standard techniques tailored to patient needs.
- Educating and counseling patients and families about treatment plans.
- Maintaining clinical records and supporting performance improvement efforts.
- Assisting with patient discharge planning and providing information on support programs.
- Ensuring safety and performing additional assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in applicable states.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
Skills
- Physical ability to perform lifting, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and other movements; proficient use of vision, hearing, speech, and data entry tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasional climbing.
- Requires alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
Schedule
Work is primarily during day shifts.
