Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - School

About the role

Support students through direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy and co-therapy with a licensed SLP
• Conduct student observations
• Gather assessment and therapy materials
• Manage IEP paperwork
• Track data and report observations to the supervising SLP

The SLPA will not conduct formal evaluations, write IEPs, or replace licensed SLP duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Passionate and motivated
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledgeable of state supervision requirements
• Capable of coordinating with supervising SLP to ensure compliance
