About the role

We are seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-27 school year in grades K-12 in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed SLPs in providing speech-language therapy services to students
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor progress
Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure effective communication
Document all services provided in accordance with state regulations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Experience in a school setting preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in using speech-language software and equipment

Skills

Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and techniques
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

$30.00 - $40.00 hourly, inclusive of nontaxable stipends converted to an hourly rate based on a 35 - 40 hour work week.
