About the role

We are seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-27 school year in grades K-12 in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed SLPs in providing speech-language therapy services to students
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure effective communication
  • Document all services provided in accordance with state regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
  • Experience in a school setting preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using speech-language software and equipment

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and techniques

Pay

$30.00 - $40.00 hourly, inclusive of nontaxable stipends converted to an hourly rate based on a 35 - 40 hour work week.

Schedule

Full-time position for the 2026-27 school year.
