Responsibilities

• Provide support to School Speech Language Pathologists in the classroom setting.
• Assist in the development and implementation of speech-language therapy programs.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations as directed by the Speech Language Pathologist.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Document progress and communicate with families and educational staff regarding student progress.

Requirements

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum).
• Valid School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant credential/license or in process in state of practice.

Qualifications

• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire.
• We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and practices.

Pay

• Weekly Pay Range: $36.00 – $41.40 per hour on a local contract.
