TheraPeds Partners is a Colorado-based therapist-owned and operated organization. We partner with local schools to provide Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services to PreK-12 students nationwide. As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy services to students
  • Conduct screeners and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents)
  • Direct therapy, consultation, and planning
  • Collaborate with SLP supervisor
  • Manage documentation, administrative, and planning time
  • Maintain manageable caseloads

Requirements

  • Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA-approved institution
  • Department of education licensure as an SLPA, where required
  • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where required
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Experience working with children
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.

Schedule

Full-time, 37.5 hours/week. Hybrid—80% on-site, 20% remote. Position runs for the 2026-2027 school year, September through May.

Pay

$40-$50+/hour. Guaranteed hours, including documentation, administrative, and planning time. Bi-monthly salary deposits.

This position will be a W-2 employee or a 1099 contractor, with eligibility dependent on employment status.
