Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Responsibilities
- Aid in preparing and helping students use augmented alternative communication devices and software.
- Document student progress toward IEP goals and objectives.
- Assist the SLP during student assessments and screenings.
- Adapt and modify instructional materials for teachers to use in the classroom.
- Travel to school sites across California and occasionally to our Pasadena, CA, for corporate meetings.
- Provide client support on VillageED and iTAAP platforms.
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, and a certificate of completion from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant’s program.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
