About Boothby Therapy Services

  • Multiple Openings Across Maine for the 2026–2027 school year.

  • Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, depending on assignment, location, and experience.

$50–$60 Per HourGuaranteed PayAt Boothby, you're paid for your scheduled time, even when students are absent or sessions are canceled. Your compensation shouldn't depend on factors outside your control.

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)

  • Active Maine SLP License or eligibility

  • School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments

  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans

  • Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions

  • Support students with: Articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, social/pragmatic communication, fluency disorders, voice disorders, AAC and assistive communication needs, adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

  • Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation

  • Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)

  • Active Maine SLP License or eligibility

  • School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
