About the role

We partner with school districts across the state and have opportunities available serving preschool, elementary, middle, high school, mixed PK–12 Caseloads, specialized programs, autism support programs, life skills classrooms, and inclusive education settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services in school-based settings
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
  • Support students with articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, social/pragmatic communication, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and AAC and assistive communication needs
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain compliant documentation and monitor progress
  • Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)
  • Active Vermont SLP License or eligibility
  • School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Active Vermont SLP License or eligibility

Pay

$50 - $60 per hour

Schedule

Compensation is based on scheduled time, regardless of student absences, canceled sessions, field trips, or schedule changes.
