About the role
New Haven Public Schools seeks a Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will contribute to enhancing educational outcomes for students.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions to students
- Evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Current certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in Connecticut
- Experience working with students in a public school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay
The salary for the 25-26 School Year ranges from $51,421 to $104,297, while for the 26-27 School Year it ranges from $53,220 to $108,047, contingent on degree and years of experience.
