Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy sessions to students
  • Evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Participate in professional development activities

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Current certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in Connecticut
  • Experience working with students in a public school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay

The salary for the 25-26 School Year ranges from $51,421 to $104,297, while for the 26-27 School Year it ranges from $53,220 to $108,047, contingent on degree and years of experience.
