SPED Teacher (ELA) - 5th - 8th Grade

About the role

Kreyco is hiring a Middle School SPED (ELA) teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday during standard teaching hours, and is paid varying amounts per week, ranging from $400 to $1,100, depending on the teaching project. Payment includes holidays and school breaks.

Responsibilities

• Teach ELA to middle school students with special educational needs
• Utilize a comprehensive curriculum provided by Kreyco
• Receive coaching and mentorship from experienced Kreyco staff
• Participate in professional development opportunities offered by Kreyco

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Reside in the US and within commutable distance to the school
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to commute to the school location
• Pass a complete background check

Qualifications

• Passionate and dedicated to teaching middle school students with special educational needs
• Experience in a variety of careers, but a shared goal of positively impacting student learning, growth, and development
• Open to working towards certification if not already certified

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of students with special educational needs
• Knowledge of special education curriculum and resources

Pay
