About the role

This position is for a Special Education Teacher at Rocky Fork Middle in Smyrna, TN. The successful candidate must hold endorsement codes: 066, 067, 069, 086, 105, 144, 145, 460, and 461.

Responsibilities

• Write and implement all components of an IEP(Individual Education Plan)
• Use a variety of reading and math strategies to meet the needs of exceptional students
• Strong organizational skills, scheduling teaching, assessments, IEP meetings, and professional collaboration
• Able to communicate with parents and hold structured IEP meetings
• Critical thinking, teamwork, collaboration, and using students' academic performance data to make accurate decisions
• Maintain regular attendance
• Interact with students

Requirements

Regular attendance is mandatory.
