About the role
The Outreach Program (TOP) is seeking a Paraeducator to support students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Support students in various educational settings
- Assist with classroom management and activities
- Participate in professional development as required
Requirements
- Prior to starting, candidates must meet the minimum employment requirements for paraeducators in the State of Washington
- Associate (AA) degree or higher from an accredited institution
- 72 college level credits from an accredited institution
- A score of 455 or higher on the ETS ParaPro Assessment and proof of high school completion or equivalent
Post-Hire Requirements
- Complete state required training offered through the KSD Professional Development Team

Hours: 6.5 hours/day
Calendar: 190 Day KAP Calendar
Pay
Hourly Salary: Min: $30.89, Max: $37.99
Salary Schedule: KAP Salary Schedule Step placement based on verified years of experience in an educational unit. Salary is annualized and spread through August.
