SpEd. IPK Educational Assistant (Floater)

Requirements

• Hold an associate’s degree or higher; OR
• Have the equivalent of two years of college coursework totaling 48 hours at an accredited institution of higher learning; OR
• Pass the Education Testing Service (ETS) Para-Pro Assessment
• Working computer knowledge
• Multi-task oriented
• Firm, team player
• Excellent attendance
• Able to follow oral and written instructions
• Able to establish effective schedule and work routines

Responsibilities

• Work with small groups of students to reinforce skills, answer questions, and provide constructive academic feedback
• Serve as a positive role model for young children
• Work under the direction of a certified teacher and complete assigned work-related duties
