About the role
The successful candidate will provide instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs based on student needs
- Collaborate with other special education staff and general education teachers
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum starting salary: $59,829.00
- IL Professional Educator License with LBSI endorsement required and registered in DuPage County
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Experience working with students with disabilities
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations
