SpEd. Inclusion Educational Assistant

Responsibilities

• Working with small groups of students to reinforce skills, answer questions, and provide constructive academic feedback
• Acting as a positive role model for young children
• Ensuring excellent attendance and following both oral and written instructions
• Establishing and maintaining effective schedules and work routines
• Completing assigned work-related duties under the direction of a certified teacher

Requirements

• Hold an associate’s degree or higher
• Alternatively, have at least two years of college coursework totaling 48 hours from an accredited institution
• Alternatively, pass the Education Testing Service (ETS) Para-Pro Assessment
• Proficient in working with computers
• Capable of multi-tasking and functioning as a team player
