SpEd. Homebound Teacher (Interim)

SpEd. Homebound Teacher Qualifications Must meet all health, physical and background check requirements.Must hold a valid Tennessee teacher's license with an appropriate special education endorsementMust have successful training and/or experience working with students with disabilities.Ability to work with medically fragile students and/or those in crisis situations, such as acute/catastrophic illness or injury.Act in a professional and ethical manner, while maintaining emotional control in all situations.Manage a flexible and dependable schedule.Must have thorough knowledge of and ability to apply all pertinent Federal and State regulations regarding the assessment, identification, placement, and provision of appropriate services to eligible students with disabilities.Strong interpersonal skills--ability to work cooperatively and effectively with a wide range of people is essential (i.e., students, school administrators, teachers, support staff, parents and other professionals in the school and community.)Must have strong written and verbal presentation skills.Must hold a valid TN Driver's License and have reliable transportation.Interim dates: 10/26-12/18/26*Dates are subject to change* Please see job description for further details*
