About the role
Responsible for providing educational support to students with special educational needs in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Support students with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Implement classroom accommodations and modifications
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement educational strategies
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs
- Provide emotional support to students and their families
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid teaching license or certification
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using assistive technology
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
