Responsibilities

• Write and implement all components of an IEP (Individual Education Plan).
• Use a variety of reading and math strategies to meet the needs of exceptional students.
• Maintain strong organizational skills; schedule teaching, assessments, IEP meetings, and professional collaboration to satisfy local, state, and federal requirements for special‑needs students.
• Communicate effectively with parents and conduct structured IEP meetings that meet all requirements.
• Apply critical thinking, teamwork, and collaboration; use students' academic performance data to make accurate decisions that address student needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Special Education.
• Flexible and able to work as a team player.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Ability to interact positively with students.
