About the role

We are seeking a Top Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Expert-Level Spectral Integration Engineer to support integration and deployment of spectral exploitation tools that serve as the foundation for a spectral exploitation environment used by Image Scientists to process, analyze, and exploit literal and non-literal data.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer and deploy a spectral exploitation environment and integrate it within the broader NSG TCPED Enterprise.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, image scientists, and developers to ensure applications and systems interoperate, delivering end-to-end mission solutions while maintaining system-of-system integrity.
  • Provide expert advice to the Government on vision, strategy, plans, needs, requirements, and process/capability developments.
  • Assist in capturing and translating mission and customer requirements into systems and capability solutions.
  • Support systems integration activities, including planning, analysis, and traceability of user requirements and architectures.
  • Address workflow and scheduling limitations through automation or process improvements.
  • Contribute to strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.
  • Lead the establishment of an integrated PED environment for spectral exploitation, enabling image scientists to employ advanced tradecraft tools for processing, analyzing, and exploiting literal and non-literal datasets.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM field, or equivalent additional experience (4 years without a degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience integrating sensor programs into large, complex System of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture environments (cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with NGA program/project work.
  • Experience integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools.
  • Experience integrating solutions using Cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
  • Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.

Qualifications (Desired)

  • Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM field.
  • INCOSE Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) certification.
  • Experience integrating spectral exploitation tools within SAGE/CAP architecture.
  • Experience integrating solutions using advanced tradecraft tools (e.g., Data Transformation Services, Full Spectrum Tool Kit).
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
  • Expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
  • Experience integrating solutions using Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
