Role Overview: The Specimen Processor II is responsible for preparing, processing, and managing laboratory specimens in a high-throughput environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process specimens for testing and analysisAccurately enter and verify patient dataLabel, pack, and ship specimens to testing facilitiesCoordinate with client offices to resolve specimen and procedural issuesPerform specialized processing such as spinning, freezing, and splitting specimens Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GEDAt least one year of medical or clinical laboratory experienceProficiency with Microsoft OfficeAbility to lift up to 40 poundsPass a standardized color blindness testStrong organizational, data entry, and attention to detail skills Additional Requirements: Evening shifts with rotating Sundays and holidays are required.
