About the role
Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Management team in St. Paul, MN.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients.
- Resolve internal and external customer requests via calls, instant messenger, and email communications.
- Communicate with customers in a respectful and professional manner.
- Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.
- Provide customer education and information as needed.
- Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Prepare and triage specimens for analysis.
- Accurately identify and label specimens.
- Pack and ship specimens as necessary.
- Prepare and store excess specimen samples.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with laboratory operations, policies, and procedures.
- Comfortable handling biological specimens.
- Ability to accurately identify specimens.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Strong data entry and organizational skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
Qualifications
- Current or prior Labcorp experience (preferred).
- Associate’s degree (preferred).
- 1 year or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory (preferred).

Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible for the 401(k) Plan only. Employees on a 7-on/7-off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
Pay
$17.75 per hour plus shift differential.
Schedule
Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
