Role Overview: Responsible for preparing and processing biological specimens in a laboratory setting to ensure accurate testing and analysis. Key Responsibilities Prepare specimens by unpacking, labeling, and routing to staging areas.Pack and ship specimens to designated testing facilities.Accurately enter patient information and troubleshoot problematic specimens.Maintain productivity and meet departmental goals. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED required.Comfortable handling biological specimens and accurately identifying labels.Strong data entry, organizational, and MS Office skills.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and pass a color blindness test.Previous lab or specimen processing experience is preferred.
