About the Role

As a Style Consultant at Target, you'll be part of a team that delivers an incredible guest experience through strong operations, visual merchandising, and a guest-first culture. This role is perfect for someone passionate about apparel, accessories, and creating inspiring shopping experiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable about assortment and brand offerings.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floorpad through priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute and maintain backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as they sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes and clearance merchandising, including signing execution.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by ensuring merchandise is worked back out to the sales floor.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up (OPU), and Drive-up (DU) while maintaining compliance.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.

Requirements

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with multiple frequency devices and technology.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, days, or shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle cash register operations.
• Climb up and down ladders.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently, including lifting up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing job duties.
• Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.

Skills

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture.
• Retail business fundamentals, including sales trends, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
• Understanding of industry trends, including style, seasonality, and brand differentiation.
• Visual merchandising skills.

Pay

Starting Hourly Rate: $17.00 USD per hour
