About the Role

As a Style Consultant at Target, you'll be part of a team that delivers exceptional guest experiences through strong operations, visual merchandising, and a guest-first culture. This role is ideal for someone passionate about apparel, accessories, and creating inspiring shopping environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable about assortment and brand offerings.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push merchandise to the sales floor, and locate products in the backroom.
• Set visual presentations and follow merchandising guides to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain product availability through priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Organize the backroom to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as products sell through to keep the shopping experience inspiring.
• Support price changes and clearance merchandising, including signing execution.
• Assist guests in the fitting rooms, ensuring a welcoming and helpful environment.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by returning fitting room and guest service merchandise to the sales floor.
• Ensure ethical conduct, safety, and compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Support guest services, including backup cashier, order pick-up (OPU), and Drive-up (DU), while maintaining compliance with relevant laws.
• Greet and assist guests, providing solutions to their needs and ensuring a welcoming experience.

Requirements

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and using multiple frequency devices and technology.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and efficiently.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, days, or shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Ability to handle cash register operations accurately.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, scan and move merchandise, lift up to 15 pounds frequently, and occasionally lift or move merchandise and fixtures up to 44 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing job duties.
• Reliable and prompt attendance.

• Visual merchandising skills.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.

Pay

Starting Hourly Rate: $16.50 USD per hour
