About the Role

Style Consultants at Target deliver an incredible guest experience through strong operations, visual merchandising, and attentive service on the sales floor and in fitting rooms. They ensure the floor is fully stocked, accurately priced, and presented with the right sizes, styles, and colors, while supporting guests throughout their shopping journey.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and maintain a guest‑ready floorpad by executing visual standards, inspirational signage, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings.
• Use store tools to monitor sales and inventory, and apply insights to solve and support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and follow visual merchandising guides to enhance guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floorpad by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Organize the backroom, locate merchandise, and support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through, using best practices to keep the shopping experience inspiring.
• Support price‑change processes by executing clearance merchandising and signing execution.
• Use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests, and ensure merchandise from fitting rooms returns to the sales floor.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; report hazards and follow safety policies.
• Assist with guest services such as backup cashier, order pick‑up (OPU), and Drive‑up (DU) while maintaining compliance with adult‑beverage laws.
• Greet guests, engage in a welcoming manner, address their needs, and thank them for shopping at Target.
• Perform any other duties based on business needs.

Requirements

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming, helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to operate multiple‑frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology as directed.
• Effective communication skills, both independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to resolve guest questions quickly and remain focused in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift or move merchandise up to 15 lb regularly and up to 44 lb occasionally, climb ladders, and stand or move for the duration of a shift.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Accurate cash register handling when needed.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements (e.g., Drive‑Up, carry‑out areas).
• Reliable and prompt attendance.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $19.25 USD per hour.
