About the Role

As a Style Consultant at Target, you'll be part of a team that delivers exceptional guest experiences through strong operations, visual merchandising, and a guest-first culture. This role is ideal for someone passionate about apparel, accessories, and creating inspiring shopping environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable about assortment and brand offerings.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push merchandise to the sales floor, and locate products in the backroom.
• Set visual presentations and follow merchandising guides to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain product availability through priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Organize the backroom to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price changes and clearance merchandising, including signing execution.
• Assist guests in fitting rooms, ensuring a welcoming and helpful experience.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by returning merchandise to the sales floor.
• Ensure ethical conduct, safety, and compliance with all policies and regulations.
• Support guest services, including backup cashier, order pick-up, and drive-up.
• Greet guests and provide assistance while completing daily tasks.
• Perform all other duties as required by business needs.

Requirements

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and with technology devices.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and efficiently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Ability to handle cash register operations accurately.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, scan and move merchandise, and lift up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Capability to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including Drive-Up and carryout.
• Reliable and prompt attendance.

• Visual merchandising and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.

Pay

Starting Hourly Rate: $16.50 USD per hour
