About the Role

As a Style Consultant at Target, you'll be part of a team that delivers exceptional guest experiences through strong operations, visual merchandising, and a guest-first culture. This role is ideal for someone passionate about apparel, accessories, and creating inspiring shopping environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable about assortment and brand offerings.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push merchandise to the sales floor, and locate products in the backroom.
• Set visual presentations and follow merchandising guides to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain product availability through priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Organize the backroom to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as products sell through to maintain an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price changes and clearance processes, including signing execution.
• Assist guests in the fitting rooms and ensure merchandise is returned to the sales floor.
• Support guest services, including backup cashier, order pick-up, and drive-up.
• Greet guests, provide assistance, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment.
• Comply with safety policies, handle cash register operations, and maintain a culture of ethical conduct.

Requirements

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively and operate technology equipment.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in varying temperatures and conditions.

Skills

• Guest service fundamentals and a guest-first mindset.
• Understanding of retail business fundamentals, including sales trends, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
• Knowledge of industry trends in style, seasonality, and brand differentiation.
• Visual merchandising and presentation skills.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $16.25 USD per hour.
