About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or the direction of a licensed RN, maintaining accountability for assigned patients. Coordinates patient care with other departments to ensure quality treatment and support.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and administer treatments within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
• Ensure compliance with licensure and certification requirements
• Assist with patient mobility, including lifting and repositioning with assistance
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
• Current LPN license and valid Basic Life Support certification
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical demands

Skills

• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications

• IV certification within one year
