Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Specialty Development Executive to join our Oncology/Hereditary Cancer team in Louisiana. The territory for this position covers the Louisiana territory. The ideal candidate would reside within the territory. Job Responsibilities Responsible for effectively communicating and selling the benefits of Invitae (LabCorp Genetics) and Laboratory Corporation of America (LCA) commercial products to Hospitals, Oncologists, Surgeons, and Genetic Counselors and regional reference laboratoriesMeet and exceed sales goals and achieve maximum sales growth in assigned territorySuccessfully build and execute an annual business plan with quarterly updatesCold call and build a sales pipeline that will provide ongoing revenue goal achievementAccurately forecast and maintain a sales funnel of new opportunities in-line with a 90-day quotaEffectively manage travel logistics to maximize sales productivityAttend local and national professional trade shows and events as requestedLearn and sell Hereditary cancer oncology focused products and servicesEffectively communicate value propositions to all targeted customers and prospectsPerform in-services, training and implementation with pertinent personnel and physician staffCollaborate and actively contribute to new business opportunities with LCA counterpartsUpdate all relevant customer account information into CRM Data Management SystemsProvide ongoing customer support, education on focus products and market updates for current customer base. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma 5 years outside sales experience Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s Degree Additional Job Standards Experience in the healthcare or clinical laboratory/medical device industryExisting relationships within one or multiple areas of: Hospitals, Oncology Clinics, Surgeons, Genetic CounselorsPrior experience in oncology, surgery, hereditary cancer, and total office callProven success managing a book of businessExperience in bringing in new business for organizations Strong persuasiveness as well as influencing and closing skillsAbility to understand complex scientific literature and use clinical data as a selling factorStrong communication skills: written and verbalExcellent time management and organization skillsProficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point & ExcelMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordPosition requires some overnight travel for client visits, sales events and trade shows Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
