About the role
Quanex is looking for a Specialty Machine Operator – 1st Shift to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This role offers hands-on experience with various woodworking equipment and opportunities for skill development and advancement.
Responsibilities
- Work with a variety of woodworking equipment, including table saws, routers, shapers, drill machines, and sanders, to produce quality products that meet customer expectations.
- Set up equipment, maintain production standards, and ensure every piece meets Quanex's quality requirements.
- Monitor product quality to ensure that quality standards are being met.
- Operate and verify work on assigned machines accurately, thoroughly, and legibly.
- Accurately complete all documentation related to the position.
- Train and mentor others as requested.
- Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
Requirements
- High School or equivalent education, required.
- 6 months+ of related machine operating experience, preferred.
- Ability to read prints and measuring instruments.
- Ability to perform detailed work requiring high levels of concentration.

Pay
- $19.00-$24.00 per hour, starting wage varies based on your experience.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm.
- Work Hours if overtime is required: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm, potential Saturday hours.
