In ENT Clinic South at Children's South Hoover Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Summary: The Specialty Care Services Specialty Clinic Nurse is a professional nurse who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients and families in an outpatient specialty care clinic setting. Essential: Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications: Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below: Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State Basic Life Support Essential: Education with Equivalent Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing or any of the following equivalent qualifications below: Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing and 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Outpatient Nonessential: Experience with Equivalent Qualifications: 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Outpatient Pediatric ENT Associates (PENTA) at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham specializes in the diagnostic, medical and surgical care of head and neck diseases in infants and children. All five of our physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology with current Alabama medical licenses, actively publish in peer-review medical journals, and participate as teachers, presenters, and instructors both regionally and nationally. Synergy of Care As the Otolaryngology specialist for Children’s Hospital of Alabama PENTA has the resources to achieve total synergy of care for our patients. Our team of physicians, nurse practitioners and RNs work closely with audiologists, one-day surgery, radiology, sleep study clinic, and HEAR specialists to offer complete care for any ENT diagnosis.
