About the role
The Specialty Sales, Principal Analyst role initially starts as non-exempt during a training period, qualifying for overtime. Upon successful completion of the training program and meeting specific criteria, the position transitions to exempt status with a base salary plus sales incentive bonus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face and remote sales to new and existing customers
- Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions
- Create medium to long-term sales plans and strategies to protect, grow, and diversify customer relationships
- Manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision
- Occasionally lead small project teams and provide informal guidance to junior staff
Requirements
- Applies basic biological process knowledge in biotechnology with supervision
- Utilizes selling techniques in straightforward sales situations with coaching
- Manages customer accounts with guidance, understanding basic CRM principles
- Delivers basic presentations, developing audience engagement skills
- Communicates effectively with key stakeholders, requiring guidance in complex discussions
- Understands organizational operations and market dynamics, applying this in familiar contexts
- Recognizes basic cancer types and treatments in oncology with coaching
- Operates medical devices with guidance, gaining practical experience
- Influences using basic techniques in simple contexts, with ongoing coaching
- Identifies basic concepts in Diabetes Mellitus with guidance
- Performs basic CRM interactions, understanding customer relationship dynamics
- Manages hormone-related disorders with ongoing coaching and supervision
Skills

Benefits
Takeda offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The U.S. Hourly Wage Range for this position is $63.51 - $87.31.
