The opportunity is a full-time role with up to 20% travel. You will provide tax advice and solutions to clients in complex and niche areas of taxation, such as accounting methods, fixed-assets, and research and development tax credits. Focus on helping businesses navigate intricate tax regulations and optimize their tax positions while building client connections and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized tax advice and solutions in niche areas such as accounting methods and research and development tax credits.
- Navigate complex tax regulations to optimize client tax positions and strategies.
- Analyze intricate tax structures and modeling to inform client recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their tax needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Interpret tax legislation and policy to guide clients in compliance and planning.
- Utilize analytical thinking to break down complex tax concepts and generate insights.
- Develop and maintain meaningful client relationships to enhance service delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to foster professional growth and technical skills.
- Uphold professional and technical standards in line with firm guidelines and independence requirements.
- Engage in continuous learning to adapt to changing tax environments and client needs.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Before starting full-time, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment (Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify).
Skills
- Analytical thinking to interpret complex tax concepts.
- Proficiency in IRA energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure tax credits and incentives, including eligibility assessment, documentation, monetization, transferability and transaction support, and compliance with bonus credits including domestic content and prevailing wage and registered apprenticeship requirements.
- Ability to navigate tax legislation and policy changes effectively.
- Develop insights from data to inform strategic recommendations.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
