Job Summary

Bishop DuBourg High School is seeking a knowledgeable and service-oriented IT Technician to support the school’s technology infrastructure and daily operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computers, devices, printers, and classroom technology
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Aid with the management and maintenance of network systems, including Wi-Fi connectivity and user access
  • Support classroom technology, including projectors, interactive boards, and audio/visual equipment
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets
  • Perform routine system updates, backups, and security checks
  • Respond to help desk requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain inventory of technology equipment and supplies
  • Assist with technology setup for school events, meetings, and presentations
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support educational technology needs
  • Ensure adherence to Archdiocesan technology policies and data security standards

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in IT support, help desk, or network administration preferred
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts, printers, and device troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests effectively
  • Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education
  • Must meet all Archdiocesan requirements, including background check and Safe Environment training
