Description Of Service Opportunity
The role of the Grade Level Team Leader is to lead grade level teams in regular collaborative planning, data analysis, and instructional improvement; engage as an active participant on a school leadership team (e.g. LT, ILT, MTSS, FAC); and provide support for school improvement efforts in teaching and learning.
Responsibilities
- Preparing for and facilitating a weekly Grade Level Team in regular collaborative planning, data analysis, and instructional improvement to focus on school-based instructional practices: The Formative Assessment for Results (FAR) Cycle, Responsive Classroom, and Wayfinder.
- Maintaining records of team meetings (e.g. agendas, notes, action plans, etc.) that are organized and accessible to team members.
- Learning (through formal & supportive training, self-study, reflection, discussion & dialogue) about the PLC process & facilitation during PD.
- Representing Grade Level Team colleagues on a school leadership team (e.g. LT, ILT, MTSS, FAC) and communicating back updates to team members.
- Working with the school principal and others to support a positive and collaborative inquiry-based culture at the school.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.

- Time and commitment to be present at meetings.
- Interest in facilitating colleagues in collaborative planning, data analysis and professional learning.
- Currently certified in the content area that is being taught.
- Committed to the most up-to-date curriculum and instruction methodology.
Pay
Flat Rate $1000.00
