Successful candidates will be responsible for hands-on development of frontend code, building responsive and dynamic user interfaces, and collaborating with cross-functional teams within an Agile environment to deliver digital products of the highest standard.

Responsibilities

Common Responsibilities Across All Levels:

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to build seamless and dynamic user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a strong emphasis on performance and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development and UX technologies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Shift-Left testing principles across development stages.

Mid-Level (3-4 Years):

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.
• Implement UI components and features according to design specifications.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services using RESTful APIs.
• Assist in ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimizing applications.

Senior Level (5+ Years):

• Lead frontend development efforts using React to build responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
• Lead frontend architectural decisions and enforce best practices across projects.
• Implement responsive UI designs with expertise in modern CSS, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and conduct advanced code reviews to maintain and elevate code quality standards.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the team.

Requirements

Mid-Level (3-4 Years):

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in frontend UI development with a strong focus on React.
• Core UI Framework: Strong proficiency in React frameworks and ecosystem (e.g., hooks, context API, router).
• State Management: Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
• Styling: In-depth understanding of CSS, including SASS/SCSS, CSS-in-JS (e.g., Styled Components), and responsive design patterns.
• Build Tools/Dev Experience: Experience in Node.js and npm for build and dependency management. Familiarity with modern bundlers (Webpack, Vite).
• Testing: Experience with frontend testing tools (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright).
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and GitHub workflows (e.g., pull requests, branching strategies).
• Micro Frontends (MFEs): Familiarity or exposure to Micro Frontends architecture.
• Monorepo Tool (Nx): Familiarity with monorepos and experience using tools like Nx for project management.
• CI/CD: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Containerization/Orchestration: Familiarity with containerization using Docker and deployment to platforms like OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• API Integration: Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON-based backend systems.

Senior Level (5+ Years):

• 5+ years of overall experience in frontend UI development with expert-level proficiency in React frameworks and ecosystem.
• Core UI Framework: Expert-level proficiency in React, including advanced patterns, performance optimization, and best practices.
• State Management: Deep expertise in various state management patterns and libraries, with the ability to choose and implement optimal solutions for complex applications.
• Styling: Expert knowledge of advanced CSS techniques, performance-oriented styling, and experience in building and maintaining design systems.
• Build Tools/Dev Experience: Extensive experience managing frontend workflows using Node.js, npm/Yarn, and advanced build configurations; ability to optimize build processes.
• Testing: Expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and E2E tests using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Version Control: Expert in Git and GitHub for complex projects, including advanced branching, release management, and code review processes.
• Micro Frontends (MFEs): Prior experience or deep understanding of Micro Frontends architecture and implementation strategies.
• Monorepo Tool (Nx): Experience leveraging monorepo tools like Nx for large-scale application development and managing shared libraries.
• CI/CD: Experience in setting up, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications.
• Containerization/Orchestration: Experience with Docker and deployment orchestration using OpenShift or Kubernetes in a production environment.
• API Integration: Expertise in consuming and optimizing various API types (REST, GraphQL).

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job level, and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
