About the role
Responsible for software development of applications on Linux and/or Windows platforms. Applications are primarily military mission systems. Image processing development experience and hardware communications interfacing experience are pluses. Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Develop software in C, C++, or Rust on RedHat Linux or Windows operating systems
- Apply software patterns and modern design methodology
- Perform object-oriented design and analysis
- GUI design and development (a plus)
- Follow software lifecycle processes
- Interface with hardware communications (a plus)
- Utilize containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) (a plus)
- Set high ethical standards for self and others
- Demonstrate adaptability to change and strong interpersonal skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred) with 4 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2 years of prior related experience
- Software development/maintenance experience
- Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Rust
- Linux OS experience
- Willingness to relocate to the Tulsa, OK area
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

9/80 schedule: employees work 9 out of 14 days, totaling 80 hours, and have every other Friday off.
