Specialist, Software Engineer
About the role
L3Harris is actively seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Software Engineer for the System Software Integration and Test Team. In this role, you will develop software applications that replicate real-world scenarios to validate that the software meets our end-user requirements.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing software applications, authoring documents, and working in the lab integrating the system software. Integration efforts will be conducted at the system level on hardware using user interfaces, rather than at a lower component or unit level. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with systems engineers to integrate software on various hardware platforms and work with other software and hardware engineers to identify deficiencies.

Requirements
This position requires at least BSCS/BSCE/BSEE/BSME from an ABET (EAC/CAC) accredited program, or equivalent engineering degree, or equivalent technical education and work experience. An Active Secret security clearance is required, or the ability to obtain and maintain one as required by the program.

- 4+ Years of directly related experience in Software Development.

Skills
Preferred skills include proficiency in Java, C#, Typescript, and Source Control (e.g., Git) solutions, as well as experience in software development roles, preferably with a focus on wireless communication projects.

Schedule
The shift for this role is 1st Shift (Monday - Friday), 9/80 (employee's work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off).
