Job Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment utilized by the Mountain Operations team, including heavy equipment, utility vehicles, snow grooming equipment, and other specialized machinery.
  • Monitor equipment condition and performance, ensuring all issues are identified, documented, communicated, and addressed promptly with Vehicle Maintenance personnel.
  • Perform physical labor as required to support the broad range of projects and responsibilities within Mountain Operations.
  • Aid with all aspects of mountain operations, including facility maintenance, infrastructure improvements, construction projects, and operational support activities.
  • Complete general maintenance tasks to support resort operations and maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
  • Follow directions effectively and work collaboratively as a member of a team while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Accurately troubleshoot equipment and operational issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Support winter snow surface operations, including snow grooming activities and related mountain preparation tasks.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety by following company policies, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in training programs and skill-development opportunities as assigned.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and conduct routine inspections before and after operation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Experience operating heavy equipment or similar machinery preferred.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and flexible schedules.
