Responsibilities
- Available to work any shift or split shift and weekends as required.
- CONUS and OCONUS deployments will be required.
- OCONUS Operations requires working up to 12 hours a day, 7 days a week sometimes in austere environments.
- Ensure personnel follow company policies, OSHA (when applicable) and best practices for a safe work environment.
- Understand a Quality Management System and how it impacts our employees.
- Inspectors may travel as part of a maintenance recovery team.
- When required, work as an aircraft maintenance technician.
- Qualified to work with job related hazardous materials.
- Willing and able to conduct specialty on the job training as the student or instructor.
- Read, write, speak and understand English.
- Current civilian driver’s license, and be able to obtain and maintain a government flight line driver’s license.
- Able to obtain and maintain a DoW issued Secret security clearance.
- Requires Airframe and Powerplant certificate (A&P) verifiable with FAA.
- Preferred Inspection Authorization (IA) verifiable with FAA.
- Comply with OSHA requirements 29 CFR 1910.
- Other tasks as assigned or needed.
Qualifications
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years aircraft maintenance experience as an FAA A&P.
- Demonstrated capability working in MS Windows based environments.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of military (day or night) flight line operations.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications-read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematic diagrams, drawings, charts and technical publications.
- Demonstrated experience completing, maintaining, and researching aircraft records.
- Demonstrated familiarity with 14 CFR Part 43, 65, 91, and 145.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Active DoW Secret security clearance.
- Experience managing aircraft maintenance Logs and records.
- 1 year demonstrated quality assurance experience.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Gulfstream trained maintenance technician.
